We install school-based water filtration systems to provide clean water to entire communities, accompanied by education and supplies to encourage water consumption and good hygiene. Specifically, Capax Quench: 1) installs water filtration systems, 2) provides sturdy water bottles to schoolchildren and 20-L water jugs to households, 3) encourages consumption of clean water for optimal health, 4) teaches soapmaking and handwashing for good hygiene, and 5) demonstrates reduced water-borne illnesses in the community, improved work and school productivity, and lower medical expenditures.  Income from the sale of water (at a very low cost) pays for maintenance of the filtration system, with extra funds used for supplies and programs for the schoolchildren. In addition, each high-capacity filtration system eliminates the disposal of more than 100,000 single-use plastic water bottles annually.
