Many thanks to the Capax World Cambodia team for meeting recently with community members and leaders in Kampong Thom province! Topics included:
• a clean water program and vegetable farm at the Kampong Sdach primary school, to reduce water-borne disease and improve nutrition among children, teachers and their families
• an upcoming road extension to improve farmers’ access to markets
• a nearby learning center under development, to demonstrate and encourage year-round cultivation of vegetables and fruit for nutrition and income diversity/resilience
• training in improved agriculture techniques and alternative crops currently available at the Tonle Chum model farm
