Rice Cultivation Technique: Food Safety and Environment
Part of the “Smiling Rice Farmers” program, this project is centered on working with rice farmers to help reduce production cost while maintaining yield and improving product quality, public health, and the environment via knowledge transfer. The team travels around Cambodia sharing rice cultivation best practices with a heavy emphasis on effective fertilizer and pesticide use which is commonly over utilized.
